Hailed by faculty, administrators and students as the best Spirit Week to date, this week's spirit and creativity was on display amongst our Upper School students and staff. They enjoyed USA Day, Fifties Day, Tourist Day and Nemesis Day.
Each day was an opportunity to dress up. All Upper School students were encouraged to participate for House or Team points and faculty and staff were encouraged to participate for fun! And fun was had by all, as the variety of outfits and ideas were a sight to behold. It was especially enjoyable to see how the students cooperated as teams for Nemesis Day, when they needed to pair up with someone to dress as rivals. Fifties Day also demonstrated teamwork as many of the girls came as Pink Ladies (from Grease).
The week is rounded out with Spirit shirt and jeans day, when all Rhetoric School students wear their House shirts, Logic School students wear their Team shirts, and all faculty/staff can wear any Trinity shirt and everyone gets to enjoy wearing a comfy pair of jeans. House and Team points were awarded for participation each day, along with prizes for best/most creative costumes.
Of the Imago Dei students, Mrs. Escorza said, "They have just loved dressing up and being a part of Spirit Week."
