September 6, 2018 - Just as our Logic and Rhetoric School students have spent the first days of the school year focusing on team-building and spiritual matters, our fourth-sixth grade friends had some special time today for the same purpose.
The girls were treated to a Friendship Tea with special guest, Mrs. Caddow. Volunteer moms set up a beautiful spread for the girls to enjoy, along with a fun, get-to-know-you activity. Mrs. Caddow, in her whimsical and engaging manner, interacted with the girls and spoke about what it means to be a good friend and how they can honor God in the way that they treat each other.
The boys enjoyed time with Mr. Richardson, hearing about what it means to be a "Blessed Man". Blessed men are careful who surrounds them, they love to read and think about Scripture, and they bless others. And of course, they ended their time with glazed donuts.
"I'm so grateful that, as a school, we are committed to this time for our students," said Mrs. Caddow. It truly is a meaningful way to begin the school year.
